Members Notes

Greetings All,

       Hello everyone and welcome back for another great year of Ring 12 magic!
Wasn't this a hot summer!  How hot was it?
       "It was so hot I spilled McDonald's coffee on myself to cool down. It's so hot that local cows are giving evaporated milk."
     Of course, you may recognize these immortal lines from one of the greatest comedy men of all times and one heck of a fine  magician - the late Johnny Carson.  There was a wonderful article about Johnny Carson's start into magic in the June 2008 issue of the Hocus Pocus.
     As I continue in my role as president of this most remarkable organization, I would love to hear more form our members. Year round many ring 12  members are busy performing at community events and charity benefits. Please share your experiences either duringf  a meeting or in the Hocus Pocus.
     On a  personal note, Norine and I would like to thank everyone for the many get-well wishes Norine received due to her knee operation. Unfortunately, Norine recently fell on her knee and had to undergo another surgery, but she is doing well. Thank you all again for your caring thoughts and kindness. You are the best!!
   Well, as summer begins its curtain call and autumn waits in the wings, the temperature may change but what won't change is all the spectacular magic and camaraderie of our Ring 12 members. The Screening Room climate is always perfect - warm, bright, and magical. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday, September 13!!
